The cultivation of the genus Pinus spp. in Brazil occupies an area 1.7 million hectares 2020. is considered a socioeconomic component, which helps maintain development southern region country and national supply chain. However, areas destined for pine usually have acidic soils low natural fertility, reduces nutrients availability, negatively influencing crop development. it not known if responds positively to mineral fertilization, nor what nutrient greatest demand regarding plantation Thus, objective this review explore are need therefore most responsive growth productivity. aims establish discussion on importance current taeda, along with answers fertilization nutrition crop, obtaining data from articles found scientific databases international literature, better inform practices little studied crop. We seen that optimize growth, seeking meet physiological needs plants thus achieve maximum literature shows many times does respond expressively when subjected fertilization. studies consider effects application over time, required conclude whether supply.
